Leela's Driveway Aid Fund

Hi, Leela here and I really need your help to save my driveway. At the bottom of our drive the hillside is sliding into the drive and the next heavy rain could send the rock, mud, and trees all the way across. Our immediate need is funding for consulting, tree removal, excavating, grading, and rock/gravel. With each storm event, heavy rains send more of the hillside into the drive and washes away the gravel, leaving deep ruts and muddy areas behind. With these funds we can take care of the immediate problem of getting in and out and the ongoing problem of the landslide. Our first $1000 will take care of the ruts and mud with grading and gravel. $10,000+ is needed for the debris removal, trees coming down, and stabilizing the slope with wire mesh and sturdy rock. It is a 500 feet long gravel drive on a steep slope. This driveway is so bad at the bottom that it keeps folks away-friends, relatives, and deliveries. A full slide there would leave us completely trapped. We are seniors living on a low fixed income and we would be so very grateful for your help.
