In the spirit of heart health awareness—and celebration of one year since my heart attack—I’d love for you to join me in this worthwhile cause.

I wanted to share a little heart-to-heart (literally!). One year ago, I was fortunate—getting help quickly made all the difference. This past year has been a journey, full of lessons about listening to our bodies and not ignoring when something feels off.

Along the way, I learned a lot about heart health and myself. I wish more people knew about the CT Cardiac Scan—a quick, noninvasive test that can detect early plaque buildup in the arteries. It's something to discuss with your doctor or share with loved ones. Prevention is powerful.

Each dollar will go for the purchase of AEDs, training machines, and training, which, in addition to Beth Emet, will take place at other locations in the Chicagoland area.
