Prayers & Support for Lee Stine’s Family
Donation protected
UPDATE: Last week Lee Stine was removed from life support after almost a month in a coma. As an organ donor—-he was able to provide life to others, and had successful transplants of his kidneys, lungs, corneas and liver to multiple recipients. There is such comfort that Lee’s spirit will live on and 5 others may survive. Right now, his family truly needs support and prayers as they proceed with their new future.
For weeks at UF Health Neuro ICU following a serious fall, Lee battled severe cranial pressure, a brain bleed, carotid aneurysm and an undiagnosed pineal brain tumor. His medical team finally realized no hope for improvement following his surgeries as he remained on life support.
As their friends, we see the enormous impact for Lee’s wife and children moving forward without him. Please join our prayers and help us cushion the blow of this unexpected loss.
Lee’s wife Heather missed several weeks of work, a now is facing an influx of medical costs and monthly expenses in this new reality for their household. With one income now and no vehicle currently, the family has a difficult road ahead.
Although we can’t change the outcome---we CAN help relieve the stressors affecting Heather and their sons, Pierce and Wallace, so they may focus on grieving Lee and their next steps in piecing their world put back together.
Thank you and please share this on as we cover his family in ongoing faith and prayers. As well for the recipients recovering from their transplants, may they be successful.
If preferred, contributions may also be shared directly to Heather’s Venmo account at @Heather-Stine-3
