Support Lee Blalock's Road to Recovery

Donation protected

Hello friends. I am creating this account for a good friend of mine, Lee Blalock. I’ve known Lee for over 20 years and if you know Lee, he is always one to help ANYONE in need. Now Lee could use some help.

On Saturday evening 10/5/24, a hit-and-run accident occurred at the Business 17/GC Connector light, leaving Lee with severe injuries. A van cut in between Lee's motorcycle and the bike he was following, causing a collision at around 40mph. The van's driver showed no regard for human life, speeding away from the scene, leaving Lee to suffer the consequences.

The driver of the van was later arrested for multiple charges thanks to eye witnesses.

Lee's Injuries:

Open Book Fractured Pelvis
Fractured Wrist
Multiple cuts and slashes all over his body

Recovery Time: 6-8 weeks

Let's Ride for Lee!

Together, we can make a difference and support a fellow rider in need.

I would be remiss if I failed to mention the others that witnessed the accident and stopped to help and support Lee until the paramedics arrived to take control. Thank you JD, Ms Dakes & the Lavis’!!

10/10 Update - Lee has been through the 2 surgeries for his broken pelvis and wrist. He has started in-hospital trauma/physical therapy and is coping with the pain.

10/14 Update - Lee is slowly getting better. Still has a lot of swelling that needs to go down. He’s more alert during the day.

10/19 Update - Lee is still healing. Pretty much off the pain meds and most swelling has subsided. He is hopeful that he can be released from the hospital within the next few days . He will need special transportation back to GA and when he is able to go home, he will still need a lot of in-home help and rehab. More of his story to come…

10/23 Update - GREAT NEWS!! Lee was released from the hospital last evening and is safely home in GA! Huge shout out to the staff at Grand Strand Medical Center for all the help and care.
