Hello all Family and Friends of Lee and Leaf -
In the end of April, Lee suffered a stroke. He was unable to speak, type, or text for a couple of weeks and has been making progress day by day. His daughter Leaf arrived in Eugene as soon as possible, phew Covid-19 did not make it easy. Since her arrival, she has helped her dad secure VA care (an appointment scheduled in June), tied up logistically loose ends, and most importantly shared precious and meaningful moments together.
Like most medical emergencies the costs are high. This GoFundMe page is to help with the costs of:
*Medical care for Lee
*Lee's travel to visit/stay? with family in Ireland
*Leaf's travel to the States (she lives in Ireland)
*Wages lost for time off of work
*Room and board for her stay in Oregon
