Her body is under immense strain, and yet she continues to fight with unimaginable strength every single day.

Hello all I’m Jerica, Lea's aunt, I’m starting this fundraiser to support our sweet Lea and her family through a sudden and devastating medical crisis.

Just this week, on Tuesday, October 21, what we thought was a common cold led to a terrifying discovery. After being taken to the Emergency Room for suspected pneumonia, scans at Children's Hospital revealed something much more serious: Fluid surrounding Lea's heart and both lungs.

As doctors worked to drain the fluid, they discovered the heartbreaking cause: a large, aggressive mass believed to be a cancerous tumor wrapping around Lea's heart. Lea is currently in children’s hospital on life support fighting for her life.

This is an incredibly traumatic, tragic, and unexpected situation that requires the full focus of Lea's parents and family. We are asking for prayers and urgent financial support to help the family manage the immediate crisis and the long, difficult road ahead:

• Allow Holly (Lea's Mom) to Remain By Her Side: Holly is staying at the hospital 24/7. Donations will cover lost wages and hospital-related costs (food, parking, etc.) so she can focus entirely on Lea’s care.

• Support for Siblings at Home: Lea’s stepdad James, is home supporting her confused siblings who are wondering where their mom and sister are. Funds will help with daily expenses, and childcare as the family navigates this instability, so James can go back to work as he’s the main provider for his family.

• Medical and Travel Expenses: Assistance with mounting medical bills, potential travel for specialist treatment, and any critical needs not covered by insurance.
