I am LeAnn French. I’m 40 years old, no children, not married yet. I am a fun, outgoing, loving people person who enjoys being FREE!! But... I had a horrible car accident on December 1st, 2025. My car was totaled, and the other people involved are okay; praying for them as well.

I worked for my parents at the tanning salon they run and operate for over 30 years now. I love my family. I have 3 great sisters, Sandy, Wendy, and Mindy. I moved to Shepherdsville, KY with my significant other at the time. For the past 15 years, I’ve been away from my hometown, which is Campbellsville, KY. I was working at Holiday Inn Express during my wreck, so I have a lot of injuries and can’t walk or bear weight on my ankle. I received 12 screws, my jaw was broken, and I have plates and 18 screws in my jaw. It’s hard to talk, and the right side of my face is paralyzed; I can’t move it. My spine was fractured; I’m in a wheelchair and can’t walk. I have a broken scapula, my right shoulder is broken, and I have a traumatic brain injury. I am wheelchair-bound. I can’t walk or drive or be independent like I was.

If anyone knows me, they knew me from the {TAN SHACK}. I ran the salon for over 25 years and love my parents. Chuck and Connie French are my mother and father, and they love me so much and have helped me get up and down and around, but I feel like a burden on everyone and used to being so independent. My insurance is only paying so much of my wreck. I still have physical therapy and ortho doctors I have to go see. I’ve been clean from pain medicine for over 10 years, and to be put back on it, well, the circumstances are different, but I don’t take it anymore. I am in so much pain, but I’m tough. I am trying to live day to day, but some mornings I wake up and just cry because I hate asking for HELP. I’m usually always the one that’s asking if you need help. But anything can help me out.

I’m trying to get a wheelchair-accessible vehicle so I can get around myself and drive myself to my doctor appointments and not be on a 3-day waiting list! Lol... but it’s the truth. For the health insurance to cover my transportation, you have to call 3 days in advance to get around. So if I want to go to McDonald's, I’m hit because they only take you to health doctor’s appointments, but you have to have called 3 days in advance. My memory isn’t the greatest right now either. I’m having help writing this and spelling now. But anything at all will help me out. I hate asking for a handout or for help, but I have never not been able to walk and be in a wheelchair and not independent. I’m just so tired and need help. It takes a while to get disability, and I have no income and no way I can work unless it’s a sit-down job, and I have doctor’s appointments like every 2 days. I want to thank you all for all your help!!! I love you all and want to be able to be independent again one day, but until then, I need all the help I can get, PLEASE!!
