Help Leanne and Baby Oaks on Their Journey to Healing
On January 14, 2025, Leanne’s life changed forever when her beautiful baby boy, Brian Solome Oaks, affectionately called Oaks, entered the world under unexpected and challenging circumstances. Leanne, a hardworking momma who was working three jobs to prepare for her baby’s arrival, was induced early due to severe complications caused by high blood pressure.
Baby Oaks was transferred shortly after birth to a specialized hospital hours away from Leanne’s home, where he is receiving critical care and extensive surgeries. Doctors estimate that Baby Oaks will need to remain hospitalized for three months, possibly longer. As a mother, Leanne is staying by his side every step of the way, ensuring he gets the love and support he needs during this difficult time.
The Challenges They Face
Leanne’s journey here has not been easy.
• Financial Strain: With Oaks' extended hospital stay, Leanne is unable to return to work, leaving her without a steady income.
• Emotional Stress: Leanne is facing constant new stresses and complications, adding to the already overwhelming pressure of being a new mom and caring for a medically fragile baby.
• Travel and Living Expenses: The hospital is a multiple-hour drive from her home, meaning she may need temporary housing near the hospital to stay close to Oaks and will also need to make back-and-forth visits to her older son (who will be back home with other family).
How You Can Help
Leanne is doing everything she can to support Baby Oaks, but she cannot do it alone. Your donations will help cover:
• Travel and temporary housing expenses so Leanne can remain close to Oaks during his treatment.
• Medical bills and costs associated with Oaks' care.
• Basic living expenses while Leanne is unable to return to work.
Every dollar makes a difference, and even sharing this fundraiser with others can help immensely.
A Mother’s Love, A Community’s Support
Leanne is a devoted mother who has faced unimaginable challenges, but her strength and determination to give Oaks the best life possible are truly inspiring. Together, we can lighten her burden and give her the chance to focus on what matters most: Oaks' recovery and well-being.
Please consider donating and sharing their story. Your kindness and generosity will provide Leanne and Oaks with hope, stability, and a brighter future.
Thank you for being part of their journey.
