Leah (Oui') is a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friends and family who is bravely battling stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. Diagnosed on May 5th, she started having muscle spasms in her right arm, thinking it was just a pinched nerve and nothing else. Her doctor ordered an MRI, where they discovered two tumors in her brain. She was then admitted into Sarasota Memorial Hospital; tests indicated a melanoma cell in her right lung. Leah is facing an uphill battle, she has a great team of doctors and currently undergoing immunotherapy and radiation treatments, which are crucial in her fight against this aggressive cancer. She has a great spirit, and a positive outlook is taking this next chapter one day at a time. I will update this platform for everyone.
Unfortunately, Leah does not have private health insurance and relies solely on Medicare, which does not cover all her medical expenses. The costs of her treatments, including necessary transfusions of medicine, are overwhelming. Additionally, transportation to and from her medical appointments adds another layer of financial strain.
Leah's strength and resilience are inspiring, but she needs our help to continue her fight. Mounting medical bills are a significant burden, and any support will go directly towards her treatment costs and transportation needs. Your generosity can make a profound difference in Leah's life, helping her focus on healing and spending precious time with her family.
