Leah is a vibrant, active 35-year-old who has always prioritized spending time with her two dogs, her cat, and the people she loves. Whether she’s hiking, traveling, or simply enjoying walks with her pets, Leah’s adventurous spirit and dedication to friends and family shine through every day.
Recently, Leah’s life changed dramatically. After coming down with pneumonia, she visited urgent care twice because she was struggling to breathe. Despite being told she was fine and just needed antibiotics, Leah trusted her instincts and sought a third opinion at Miriam hospital. There, doctors discovered a large mass over her lungs and chest plate, and she was diagnosed with primary B cell lymphoma.
As Leah begins her fight against lymphoma, she is unable to return to work and faces mounting bills, including rent and everyday expenses. The funds raised will help Leah cover these costs and support her and her medical costs as she undergoes treatment, as insurance only covers so much, leaving Leah with costly medical bills. Nobody should have to worry about the stress of bills while they are fighting for their lives. Additionally, as she starts to lose her hair from chemotherapy, your support will help her find a beautiful wig, which can be a significant expense.
Thank you for taking the time to read, share, support, and show your love to Leah in her time of need. Every gesture means so much, and we appreciate each and every one of you!
