Hi everyone,

I’m Karen Magirowsky, Leah’s bestie and health challenge advocate. I’m writing on behalf of Leah—a strong, loving mom, friend, and someone who has always taken care of everyone else before herself. Right now, she is in the fight of her life, and she needs our help.

Leah is battling a complex and overwhelming combination of serious health conditions, including:

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS)

Markers for Crohn’s disease

Ulcerative colitis

Her symptoms are severe and affect her entire body—chronic pain, skin breakdown, extreme fatigue, swelling, muscle loss, and difficulty maintaining basic nutrition and hydration. Despite countless treatments, medications, and hospital visits, nothing has provided lasting relief or clear answers.

She is not getting the level of care she needs locally.

Leah now needs to travel to world-renowned specialists at places like Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, where doctors can perform advanced testing, coordinate complex diagnoses, and develop a life-saving treatment plan. These are not one-time visits—this will require multiple extended trips, testing phases, and follow-up care.

The reality is heartbreaking:
