Support Leah Kelley's Recovery after Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
On the evening of June 9, 2025, Gene and Leah Kelley were riding their motorcycle near their home in Bedford County, PA, when they were struck by a pickup truck while turning onto a two-lane highway. Gene tragically passed away. Leah sustained multiple serious injuries and is now facing a long road to recovery.
Leah underwent emergency abdominal surgery and a foot amputation in Altoona. She has since been transferred to Pittsburgh for additional surgeries and specialized care to address fractures to her femur, hip, pelvis, and multiple rib fractures.
Their daughters, Samantha, Alyssa, and Chelsea, are now together in Pittsburgh to support their mom. Leah’s full recovery timeline remains uncertain, and her care will involve extended hospitalization, rehabilitation, and significant transition planning once she is discharged.
This fund will help cover Leah’s ongoing medical expenses, temporary housing for her daughters during her hospital stay, and the many unforeseen costs that come with such a sudden and life-altering event.
If you’re able, please consider donating to support Leah’s healing and the family’s stability in the weeks and months ahead. Your kindness and prayers mean the world during this incredibly difficult time.
We’re also collecting stories, memories, and photos of our mom and dad. If you have something to share with us, big or small, we’d love to read it when we’re ready. You can email us at: KelleyLegacyProject at gmail.com.
