On June 7th, Leah Fisher suffered a traumatic injury, breaking her leg severely enough that emergency medics rushed her by ambulance to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee—a Level 1 trauma center. The next day, she underwent emergency surgery to stabilize the injury. Leah spent seven days in the hospital and now requires 24-hour care at home. Her next surgery is scheduled for June 24th, and doctors estimate it will be at least three months before she will even be able to put weight on her leg again.
Leah and her husband, Justin, have spent the past 25+ years dedicating their lives to serving others. For the last 13 years, they have pastored Revolution Church, a small but community-minded congregation they planted in Wisconsin. Through their church and its outreach ministry—Revolution Resale—they help people find freedom from addiction and rebuild their lives. They are the kind of people who give freely, care deeply, and rarely ask for anything in return.
But now, they need help.
Because of the size of their church, the Fishers have a very high deductible (essentially catastrophic) insurance, and as of now, the ambulance ride has not been covered. Additionally, their historic two-story Victorian home is not equipped for Leah’s current mobility needs. She cannot reach the second floor where their bedroom and full bathroom are located. The first-floor bathroom also needs significant modifications to make it safe and accessible for her recovery.
This fund will help cover Leah’s medical bills, essential home renovations, and caregiving support as she begins the long road to healing. If you have ever been touched by the Fishers’ generosity, kindness, or tireless service to others—or if you are simply moved by their story—please consider giving.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. And above all, your prayers and encouragement mean the world.
