Help support our Dad in His Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Lea. My Dad is 64 years old and recently received a pacemaker, forcing him to retire early from his job as a FedEx delivery driver. Shortly after, he found out he has blood cancer- Multiple Myeloma. He has to undergo 8 treatments of 5 and a half hour sessions of infusions, and has to take 21 chemo pills that cost over $1,000 per pill. Once he’s done with the treatments, he will have his bone marrow removed, shot with chemo, and put back in.
My Dad has 4 daughters- my sister Heather, was born with Spina Bifida and underwent over 40 surgeries in her lifetime before passing away of sepsis at age 22. Being a blue collar, lower middle class family, we unfortunately have always been behind financially due to the constant medical bills.
My Dad has always done his best to take care of us and put us first, it’s our turn to do the same for him. He has made us all strong, independent, women, and we are lucky to have him as a Father.
All of this money will go directly to his treatments and medical bills. Please help in any way you can. We are forever grateful.
Thank you,
The Sherman Family
