Hey friends, especially HUFS and Geekbound alum! Designer Lea Gifford (The Moral Time Lady) is in a bit of a pickle. She’s been interning with me this summer and attending FIT for the one year fashion program (the same program I did!) but just found out she has to move out of the dorms for 3 weeks between the summer and fall sessions. She’s rented a small storage unit to house her belongings and is waiting for a paycheck to tide her over for an Airbnb or similar during that time. I’m going to help her move her stuff (I have a car) and offered up my couch for any in-between time. Lea would rather not ask for help, but she means so much to a lot of us, and I thought the geek fashion community could help her keep on her feet and have a bit of a buffer.
