LC and MC are two of my former students, and I am reaching out to help them raise support for an upcoming service trip to Chiang Rai. Their parents work overseas, which makes it especially challenging to gather the necessary funds for both children to participate. This trip is a unique opportunity for them to serve, learn, and grow, and I want to do everything I can to help them get there.


LC has been on this trip once before, and it made such an impact that he knew he had to return for his Junior year. LC is excited to reconnect with the Chiang Rai community, renew the work started two years ago, and strengthen friendships with students from other schools. This trip is also a key time for LC to deepen his faith. To help raise his portion of the funds, LC is making and selling cinnamon rolls with friends who are also going on the trip.


For MC, this will be his first-ever service trip and his first year of high school. MC is eager to challenge himself, serve others in a hands-on way, and focus on his faith during devotional and reflection times. He is also looking forward to building new friendships with classmates and the Thai children he’ll be working with. MC is working hard to cover part of his cost by helping with small jobs and saving what he can.
