We are reaching out on behalf of someone we all know and love—Lazarus Jackson.

Lazarus is more than just a friend, coworker, or family man—he’s someone who brought light into every room he walked into. He has two beautiful daughters who love him deeply, and a devoted wife who has stood by his side through everything.

If you knew Lazarus, you remember his laugh… and how he made all of us laugh. He had that way about him—always teasing, always joking—but it always came from a place of love. Beneath that playful spirit was a man who truly cared about people. He showed up. He checked in. He made you feel like you mattered.

Today, Lazarus is facing Alzheimer’s disease—a cruel and heartbreaking illness that slowly takes away memory, independence, and the ability to care for oneself. As his condition has progressed, his needs have become more than can be safely managed at home.

With incredibly heavy hearts, his wife and family made the difficult decision to move him into a care facility where he can receive the full-time attention and support he now needs.

While this ensures Lazarus is safe and cared for, the financial cost is overwhelming. Long-term care is expensive, and it’s become a burden no family should have to carry alone.

That’s why we’re asking for help.
