Our Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Brother Layton Smith was in a life-threatening automobile accident 6 weeks ago and has been in the hospital since that time. Our brother is a fighter, but his injuries are severe. The car accident resulted in the loss of a limb and burns to over 50 percent of his body. He has many more months of costly treatment ahead, including hospitalization, rehabilitation, medications, orthotics, and other medical equipment. In addition to the accumulating medical charges, his loving wife has been faithfully at his side daily, incurring travel expenses.

With this GoFundMe page, we are hoping to relieve some of the daily worry and financial burden for the family. The funds raised will be used to offset inpatient medical bills, in-home nursing care, rehabilitation costs, and commuting expenses.
