Hi, my name is Layne, and I have a major surgery scheduled for July 30. I’m grateful to be in good health and able to move forward with this next step, but it will require me to take about 8 weeks (or possibly longer) away from work to fully recover. This will be my first surgery, and since it’s a significant procedure, I’m going into it with a mix of excitement and some very real nerves. There’s definitely a level of fear and anxiety that comes with the unknown, but I’m doing my best to prepare and take it one step at a time.

I’m raising funds to help ease the transition into recovery by covering things like food, bills, and pre- and post-op care. Having that extra support would make a huge difference in allowing me to focus on healing and staying as comfortable as possible during this time.
