Little Laynee Joanne Babers was born January 30, 2024, with a heart condition that caused her to have to stay in the hospital for the first four months of her life.

She has undergone extensive testing and hospital stays ever since. On March 28, she was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital for a Heart Cath where doctors confirmed that her condition had worsened to the point that she has been admitted to ICU and has been placed on level 1 critical heart transplant waiting list!

As you can imagine, this all has taken a huge toll, both emotionally and financially.

Laynee's father, Kolby, and grandmother, Stormy, have had to take leave from their employment to take care of her.

Laynee has a long and difficult road ahead of her, but she is a fighter, and if a suitable donor is found in time, she will overcome and recover, just like her dad Kolby did after receiving his heart transplant in April 2000.
