Hello! My name is Larisa Martin and I am raising funds to help offset the medical costs for my dear friend and the best friend of Placencia community's pets, Layla Croft. On December 16, Layla will travel to Mexico accompanied by her friend, Erica, to have surgery on December 17. Post-surgery, Erica will stay with her for 3 days in the hospital, followed by 4 days in a hotel near the hospital.

UPDATE: Layla's surgery happened yesterday, December 18. Her amazing surgeon expected it to last four hours but was done in less than two. Today, she is resting in the hospital. I'll keep you posted as news become available from Merida. Layla and I are grateful for all the love, prayers, and good wishes.
