My name is Lawal Olamide Sukurat. I am the first female President of the National Association of Deaf Students (NADS), Special Education Chapter, and I serve as the Leader of Remo Deaf Youth Girl.

In my leadership journey, I work as the Assistant General Secretary of the National Association of Nigerian Deaf Students (NANDS), and I am an Accounting Manager of the Deaf Positive Ability Initiative (DPAI).

I have secured a U.S. visa to attend the Dallas DeafNation Expo 2026 in Dallas.
