Hello. My name is Gavin and as some of you may know, I’m a part time bartender at Bindys Bar & Grill in Granite City, IL. We have some of the best and most fun staff in the area. We have two cooks. One is my cousin who is also the head chef and the other one is one of the coolest and a very hardworking guy. His name is Lavonte. His food is so good. (If you haven’t visited Bindys yet, you really should). I received some very awful and heartbreaking news around 11:55 pm on February 24th. Lavonte was hit by a car while walking at night. Paramedics said his legs are very messed up and one is even broken. He will be out of work for a very long time which not only is very difficult for him but also difficult for Bindys because he works so much. I would love to help this man as he has been so much help for me. Anything and everything is appreciated. All donations will be sent to him and his mother to ease things on them both.
