Lavetta Beshears is facing one of the most challenging seasons of her life. After losing her husband Roger to cancer in October 2024, she was diagnosed with cancer herself just months later. Now, as she undergoes chemotherapy, Lavetta is unable to work full time, making it difficult to cover her daily expenses. The weight of grief and the uncertainty of her health have made it hard for her to manage even the basics of everyday life.

Lavetta has always been the kind of person who steps up for others in their darkest moments. When I faced my wife’s battle with breast cancer, the loss of my daughter, and even job loss and family struggles, Lavetta was there for me. Her compassion and strength helped me through times I thought I couldn’t survive. Now, she needs our help as she walks through her own valley of grief and illness.
