My younger sibling, Lavender, woke up today to the news that their Dad has passed away after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. While this loss is already profound enough, Lavender is thousands of miles away from our family and grieving in solitude.

They are currently living in San Diego, CA pursuing their masters degree, which has left them with no financial buffer to afford a plane ticket home to New Hampshire to be with, and surrounded by, the love of their family while they mourn and lay their Dad to rest.

My goal is to give them the space to grieve rather than the added burden of stress in trying to earn enough money in a very short time, or further grief in not being able to attend upcoming services and be in the comfort of family.

I have priced round trip airfare and it ranges greatly, but would love to raise enough to Uber/Lyft them to the airport and get them back home without worry. Every share and every dollar will be more appreciated than you will ever know… and any amount over airfare will go to help them eat, pay bills and have space to grieve this monumental loss.
