I am creating this go fund me in hopes to support as well as remove some of the financial burden and emotional stress this brings for my beautiful sister in law Lauri as well as my 3 nephews and brother in law, Jared. Lauri has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer that has metastasized. She has a long and challenging road ahead filled with surgery, chemo, appointments, and recovery. Right now, her focus needs to be on fighting this battle and spending precious time with her family.

Lauri and her husband Jared are devoted parents to three amazing boys — Grant, Grayson, and Gabe. Lauri is a dedicated stay-at-home mom who homeschools their son Gabe and pours her heart into supporting all three boys in their sports and daily activities. Her life revolves around her family.

Jared has been actively seeking employment for the past two years, but despite his efforts, work has been difficult to secure. He has faithfully served the Herriman community for years — coaching youth football in the Ute Conference for 15 years, coaching Herriman Little League baseball for 15 years, and serving on the Little League baseball board for 7 years. He has given so much of his time and energy to supporting local youth and families.

With bills, travel for treatments, and everyday living expenses, the financial strain is heavy. This family needs the freedom to focus on Lauri’s health, her treatment, and being together during this fight.
