Hi my friends, Sunday morning I woke up to feeling very sick with vomiting, bad pain in my kidney area and high fever, I had just been in the hospital for sepsis in June and knew I had to get back to the hospital. I had just started really feeling better and back to myself, being able to go back to work part-time and walking without my cane when this happened. It has put a terrible stress on me physically and financially.

Sepsis is a life-threatening situation where, if caught early like mine, can be handled, but it does not go away. It causes weakness, fatigue, and confusion.

I know times are not easy for a lot, but if you have a few dollars you could help me with I would be very grateful So many of you have helped me, supported me, and encouraged me. I can’t tell you how much it has meant to me.

I am at The Pavilion HUP. Throughout my cancer journey and surgeries, they have always taken such good care of me, and I am just so grateful for that and especially my family, my daughter, who has been my support and the best cancer warrior anybody could ever hope for.

Hopefully, I’ll be home in a few days where I can start to recover and then hopefully get back to work as soon as possible.
