Hi, my name is Brandy Cabral, and I’m raising funds to support my mom, who is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Boston after experiencing septic shock and multiple serious infections.

She’s receiving around-the-clock care, and while there are small signs of improvement, her condition remains complex. Due to underlying health issues, she will also need an organ transplant in the near future. Anyone who knows Laurie knows how hard of a worker she is, putting in over 50+ hours a week for most of her life, but has recently been told she had to stop working. With the possibility of an impending transplant, she will be out of work for quite some time.

The mental and financial strain of ICU care, specialist treatment, medications, and the transplant process is overwhelming. Our family is doing everything we can, but we’re reaching out for support during this incredibly difficult time.
