On May 24th 2019 Laurie Messier was found unconscious in her home and later diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Lung Cancer; which spread from her lungs to her brain, kidneys, breasts, lymph nodes, and subcutaneous tissue. This all came on suddenly as Laurie was not experiencing any symptoms before this night.

Unfortunately, this type of cancer is non curative and aggressive despite ongoing treatment. As Laurie's health declines her needs increase. Of course with stage 4 cancer and treatment come many unforeseen expenses not covered by health insurance. 

Laurie Messier has so much to live for and refuses to give up! 


Hopefully, with continued treatment Laurie can enjoy a little more time at home with her beloved Daughters, and Grandchildren. One of Laurie's greatest joys aside from her family is her home. 


Laurie's family would like her to stay in the comfort of her own home while she continues her fight.
