Support Laurie Hedlund in Memory of Alf Athenstaedt

We are all greatly saddened by the passing of Alf Athenstaedt, friend, mentor, and beloved husband of Laurie Hedlund. Alf was a great champion of classical dressage riding, serving as a trainer and rider at the Tempel Lippizans from 1965 until his retirement in 2002. His impact on the dressage community in the United States is great, as is evident from his many years of teaching classical dressage principles. He is truly one of the foundational greats of the dressage sport in this country! Laurie continues Alf's teaching with her classical dressage program.
