Hello friends and family, my name is Jacob Breibart and I am Laurie Breibart's son. In April 2024, my mom was not her normal self. We took her to the hospital where they found a tumor growing on her brain. She was sent straight to UC Davis where they found 4 CNS lymphoma tumors and immediately started treating her with rounds of chemotherapy. She was in and out of the hospital for the first 4 months, and in August they did a stem cell treatment and she was in the hospital for 3 weeks. We thought this would be the end of the road and onto normalcy, but that never happened.

She has lots of out-of-pocket hospital bills from this portion of her treatment. Last month, she went in for one of her normal checkups, and a CAT scan revealed the cancer had returned and was growing aggressively. She is going in for a round of a state-of-the-art T-cell therapy trial; she will be the first CNS brain lymphoma patient to try this treatment plan. We are still unable to recover the cost of the first round of treatment, and now we are onto a second round of growing expenses. Your donation would go directly towards Laurie’s growing medical bills, out-of-pocket costs, and other expenses that are associated with her recovery.
