Hi everybody, my name is Brenna and I am creating this GoFundMe for my best friend, Lauren Wielgos.

Lauren is in her 30s, and just a couple of months ago, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Her medical team is top-notch and started working on her care plan quickly. Lauren has been going through chemotherapy treatments for several weeks, but she still has a long road ahead.

I started this GoFundMe to raise money for Lauren's unexpected medical bills and other necessary expenses, so that Lauren can focus on her recovery and get back to the things she really loves—hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and jeeping in Colorado's mountains.
