Support Lauren's Recovery from Severe Injury

Hi everyone,

My name is Lauren, and I’m reaching out for your support during a challenging time in my life. A few weeks ago, during a causal bicycle ride home after dinner, I suffered a severe femur fracture. This injury required an immediate ambulance ride to the hospital where I stayed for 5 days.

The injury was severe and required surgery to repair. I had to have an implant inserted to stabilize the bone and joint, which has been both physically and emotionally taxing. While I am incredibly thankful for my insurance coverage, it does not cover all of the expenses associated with this recovery.

The amount I’m asking for will cover my insurance deductible, necessary medical equipment for my home recovery (such as a wheelchair, shower chair, and bedside desk), and one month of rent while I’ve been unable to work for the past three weeks.

My most immediate need is to raise $1550 by 9/6 in order to pay next month's rent. Everything afterwards will go towards my deductible, physical therapy and other related expenses.

I moved to Denver from Nashville just a year ago, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. Now, as I navigate this unexpected setback, I’m facing the reality that I might need to move back if I can’t manage these costs. Your support will not only help me manage these immediate costs but also ensure that I can focus on healing and returning to my life here in Denver.
