We’re asking for your support for Lauren, a devoted mother of a sweet 4-year-old daughter (Charlotte) , who is currently fighting for her life in the Cardiovascular ICU at Holy Cross Hospital. What started as a visit to the ER for trouble breathing turned into a devastating and unexpected diagnosis: Lauren is in heart failure, with her heart functioning at only 10–20%.

She recently underwent a cardiac catheterization procedure, and her doctors are now trying different medications in hopes of strengthening her heart. Unfortunately, her condition is critical, and she will remain hospitalized for the foreseeable future. A transfer to Memorial Hospital is being arranged, where she may ultimately need a heart transplant.

This has turned Lauren’s world upside down. She is facing the unimaginable — battling a life-threatening illness while being separated from her young daughter, all while trying to stay strong for her. The emotional, physical, and financial toll is overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to help cover medical expenses, childcare, transportation, and basic living costs during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden and allow Lauren to focus on healing and being reunited with her daughter.
