Hi everyone, my name is Skylar and I am asking for help in supporting one of my best friends in the whole world, Lauren. Lauren is currently in the ICU battling acute respiratory distress syndrome, and she is very, very sick. What started as a regular illness worsened, and she is currently in a medically induced coma receiving life-saving treatment. We are praying fervently for the best outcome possible for Lauren, but know that there will be financial strain involved throughout this journey. I am humbly requesting that anyone with the means to help please donate to support Lauren and her mom with bills due to time off work, as well as medical expenses that will accumulate during this time. Lauren is a strong, stubborn gem of a human being and has been my rock for the past 11 years. She has a heart of gold and constantly makes sacrifices to help and support those around her. She truly deserves all of the help we can give her right now. I absolutely believe she will fight her way through this.
