My name is Lauren, and my dad was recently diagnosed with cancer. My family recently lost our house of 18 years because of the cost of bills, but there seems to be no break for us in the near future. My dad was the sole provider of income for our family, but with his illness, he hasn't been able to work. A lot of the financial burdens have fallen on me, but as a young adult fresh in the working world, my job definitely does not cover the bills for a family of four.
