I am asking for help towards my travels to Soul Fire Farm in New York state. "Soul Fire Farm is an Afro-Indigenous centered community farm committed to uprooting racism and seeding sovereignty in the food system."

Out of 194 applicants, I am amongst the 63 selected to attend the Farming In Relationship to the Earth (F.I.R.E) Immersion program - July 21st-26th.

Those that know me are aware of my love and deep respect for nature and children. As a lifelong learner and as an Outdoor Educator guiding young children within garden spaces, this is a profound blessing towards my life's work and is a dream come true!

I am deeply uncomfortable with asking for help. However, during this time of financial hardship, any offerings of support towards my path as an Earthkeeper are precious to me.

I am devoted to my passion of connecting children and families to the natural world. I feel so privileged to have an opportunity to deepen my skills and reverence for the Earth.

Contributions will fund:

Travel expenditures- including gas, meals, camp site fees (Texas to New York and back home)
