Support Lauren Martin in Her Time of Loss

I am raising funds for the sister of my heart, Lauren Martin, to support her in the weeks following the loss of her mother Jean. Her mother had no life insurance and left behind five animals, funeral costs, and all of the planning needed for her funeral and estate.

Lauren is one of the most compassionate humans that I have ever met. For those of you who know her, you know the truth of this statement: she dedicates every moment to the health and happiness of all living creatures. She will drop everything to care for those she loves, human or creature. She especially cares for the animals that are misunderstood. She has a special touch with young people who are struggling, or friends who need to feel seen and heard.

During this time of grief, traditionally friends and family would drop by food so she could focus on the work needed to put her mother to rest and have some time to grieve. Lauren, however, is a vegan so it is easier for her if we can provide funds to order food instead. She also has been driving back and forth to Ohio nearly every day to take care of needed planning as well as the vet care and needs of her mother's four cats.

So, I am setting up this gofundme to support Lauren during a time that she needs the uplift of her community. Let's cover her gas back and forth to her mother's home, provide her with some nourishing food, and help with the vet bills so that she can nourish herself during this difficult time. I'm not sure how much the vet bills are going to be so I will update as we move forward.
