Lightning Struck Twice: Supporting Marguerite and Lauren
in their Fight against breast cancer
A Story of Love , Support and Bravery
Life throws curveballs, but sometimes it feels like a whole thunderstorm. That's what happened to our family when not one, but two beloved cousins, Lauren and Marguerite, were diagnosed with breast cancer within two days of each other. The cousins, 14 months apart in age, have been close since birth.
Lauren and Marguerite
It's a gut punch that defies the odds, a moment where the saying "lightning never strikes twice in the same place" feels tragically wrong. Though their journeys are unique, their bond remains unbroken. They will fight this side by side, with the unwavering love of their family and friends as their guiding light.
Marguerite and Lauren
They've always been close, confidantes through thick and thin. Now, facing this challenge together, their bond is a beacon of strength. They plan to tackle treatment side-by-side, sharing laughter, tears, and unwavering support for each other.
Lauren's Story
Lauren is facing a particularly difficult battle. Diagnosed with triple-positive stage two breast cancer while pregnant with her second child, her journey will undoubtedly be challenging. However, her strength and determination are unwavering. Lauren needs all her energy focused on her health and the miracle growing within her. We want to ensure she can face this challenge with all the love , support and prayers as she navigates motherhood, pregnancy, and treatment.

Marguerite's Story
Marguerite, a mother of five, received the devastating news of triple-negative stage two breast cancer. This aggressive form of cancer, coupled with the responsibility of caring for her children, creates a significant financial burden. She will be unable to work while undergoing treatment, leaving her with the worry of daily expenses on top of her health battle. Marguerite needs a helping hand. Everyday expenses can be overwhelming, and we want to alleviate that pressure so she can focus solely on her recovery. The road to recovery can be long and expensive.

How You Can Help
We're reaching out to create a financial support system for Marguerite during this critical time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a world of difference in helping her focus on her health and well-being without the added stress of financial hardship. Funds raised will go towards covering essential expenses like rent, groceries, and all the everyday expenses as well as any unexpected expenses that may arise.
Beyond Donations
We understand that not everyone can donate financially. There are many ways to show your support:
Share this campaign: Help us spread the word and reach a wider audience.
Send positive thoughts and prayers: Both Lauren and Marguerite need all the strength they can get.
Offer practical help: Can you help with childcare, meals, or transportation? Every little bit eases the burden.
Together, we can show Lauren and Marguerite the power of community. Their fight is our fight, and with your help, they can emerge from this stronger than ever.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity, it mean so much to these girls as well as the entire family.
