Lee Powell’s daughter, Lauren, needs our help.
On August 10, 2025, Arnold Lee Powell, Jr., known by friends and family as Lee, lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident.
Lee was truly one of a kind. The kind of man who could walk into a room full of strangers and leave with a room full of friends. He was dynamic, the life of the party, always quick with a joke, a story, or a laugh. His presence was big, and so was his personality.
To Lauren, he was “Hammy,” a name only she called him. Their relationship wasn’t always easy, but it was rooted in love. Her Hammy adored her and took great pride in being her father. She was the light of his life, and she adored him back.
His sudden passing has left her devastated, emotionally and financially.
Although only 21 years old, Lauren is responsible for Lee’s funeral. She wants to honor his memory through an intimate private gathering, while also securing a final resting place that will forever be open to all who loved Lee, a place where all can come to grieve his loss and find comfort in the presence of his name.
If you're able, please consider donating to help cover the costs of Lee’s final arrangements. Any amount, big or small, will help ease the burden during an already overwhelming time. And if you can’t give, sharing this campaign would mean so much.
Thank you for your kindness, your support, and for helping Lauren give her dad the farewell he deserves.
