Lauren Gils Funeral Arrangements

Unfortunately, Lauren has lost her battle with cancer. She was so young and beautiful and determined to come out the side but god had different plans. Any help will go towards her funeral arrangements. We thank everyone for their help & donations. As we try and move forward to let Lauren rest in peace.

Hi, my name is Lauren Gil, I’m 20 yrs old and about a month ago, my life changed. My body felt different. Pain was taking over and started affecting my everyday life. On May 26th, I went to the emergency room with what I assumed was just muscle pain. A couple of days later, after some tests & results, on May 30th, 2024, I was officially diagnosed with leukemia. As you could imagine, my life has changed drastically.

My whole life, my mother has been the sole provider for me. I am grateful for the support she gives me day in and day out because I would not be able to have made it these weeks without her. But as a result of her giving all her time to me and these hospital stays, she has not been able to work.

I'm here because I have a long road ahead of me and I have come to terms that we need some help. Any help that we obtain will go to my medical and personal care so it can help take that burden off her hands as she also has other responsibilities. She also has to provide for my younger sister Ally, who of course also needs love and to be taken care of.

Hola, mi nombre es Lauren Gil, tengo 20 años, y hace aproximadamente un mes mi vida cambió. Mi cuerpo se sentía diferente. El dolor se estaba apoderando de mí y empezó a afectar mi vida diaria. El 26 de mayo fui a urgencias con lo que supuse era solo un dolor muscular. Un par de días después, después de algunas pruebas y resultados, el 30 de mayo de 2024, me diagnosticaron oficialmente leucemia. Como podrás imaginar, mi vida ha cambiado drásticamente.

Toda mi vida, mi madre ha sido mi única sustentadora. Agradezco el apoyo que me brinda día tras día porque no habría podido sobrevivir estas semanas sin ella. Pero como resultado de haberme dado todo su tiempo y de estas estadías en el hospital, no ha podido trabajar.

Estoy aquí porque tengo un largo camino por delante y he llegado a la conclusión de que necesitamos ayuda. Cualquier ayuda que obtengamos se destinará a mi atención médica y personal para que pueda ayudar a quitarle esa carga de encima, ya que ella también tiene otras responsabilidades. También tiene que mantener a mi hermana menor, Ally, quien por supuesto también necesita amor y que la cuiden.
