Support Lauren Garcia's Road to Recovery

This girl, Lauren Garcia! She thrived in her move from Idaho to Montana to work at the Missouri River Ranch in Craig. She fell in love with the state, the job, her coworkers who became family, and the visitors to the Ranch. She wanted to experience every moment Montana had to offer, and she’ll tell you that this move was the best decision she has made. Unfortunately though, a young group of kids made a decision to drive drunk in the early hours of Wednesday, July 9th and struck the car that Lauren was star gazing off the tailgate of. Upon impact, she was thrown 50 feet down an embankment, where she sustained multiple broken bones, a dislocated knee, lacerations of the liver, spleen and forehead, a partially collapsed lung, hematoma and concussion. Multiple amazing and capable Emergency Service Departments responded to the accident scene and she was ultimately life-flighted to Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Montana. She has had exceptional care by many teams of doctors, surgeons and nurses. After her 5th surgery taking place on July 24th, was moved out of the hospital into an in-patient rehabilitation therapy on Friday July 25th. I am thankful to report that by the grace of God, she survived, she will still need 2 additional surgeries in the future, but should not have any severe life- altering disabilities.
