Support for Lauren Barakey and Family

Our dear friend Lauren Barakey, needs our support.

Lauren is a 23-year-old recent Virginia Tech graduate and a standout collegiate swimmer, known by everyone around her for her strength, determination, and kindness. Recently, Lauren has fallen seriously ill and faces a long and challenging road to recovery.

This GoFundMe has been created to help Lauren and her parents, Mike and Wendy Barakey, as they navigate the emotional and financial challenges ahead. The funds will help with medical expenses, travel, and the many costs that come with a long recovery process.

Lauren has always been a fighter in and out of the pool who family has always supported so many other and now it’s our turn to rally behind her and her incredible family. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference and show them how much love and support surrounds them.
