This fundraiser is for the three sons of Laurel Bistany, a devoted single mother who passed away unexpectedly this summer. Laurel’s loss has left her boys, all in their 20s, facing challenges and responsibilities that most people their age never expect. With the support of their cousin Heather and many caring community members, they have worked tirelessly to settle Laurel’s affairs and prepare her home for sale, despite the many hurdles of probate.

Just as they were making progress, a sudden pipe leak caused significant damage to the property, affecting drywall, flooring, and two bathrooms. Immediate action was taken to prevent further harm, but the costs of repairs are mounting quickly. Due to ongoing probate issues, it’s not clear what, if any, homeowner’s insurance will be available to help. The boys have shown incredible responsibility and resilience, but they need help to get through this difficult time.
