Raising money for a good nurse friend and co-worker that has been out of work for a month or so. It started out with COVID, and a week later, she was still short of breath, which brought her to the ER. They admitted her and told her she had heart failure, which was caused by COVID. While in the hospital, they had to put chest tubes in her and took off 56 lbs of fluid around her heart and lungs. She was in the hospital for two weeks before they released her. She went to a follow-up appointment with the cardiologist on Jan 3rd and was sent back to the hospital for a thoracentesis and drained more fluid that came back.

She feels the financial burden that this has caused her, making her feel like she has to come to work, but the doctor won't release her because she isn't ready; she is still sick.
