Support Laura's Mini Cat Rescue Mission

Hey all. My name is Laura and I've inadvertently become a mini rescue. We bought our home in a very small town a year and a half ago and within the first month we discovered a litter of abandoned kittens in the roof of our shop. I bottle raised them and foster failed. They found their forever home here. Over the following months I discovered the town has a massive community of feral and stray cats. We do not have animal control and every rescue is soo full and tapped out they have been unable to help on any large enough scale. I have worked with them to spay/neuter 10 cats and unfortunately 7 of them were TNR as they were just too spicy (aka feral) to go to homes.

Recently a feral Mommy had her two kittens in the crawl space below our house. We moved them to my she shed but it's definitely needing alot of work if it is going to be a space used for rescue. I will home the kittens once they are old enough and appropriate loving homes are found. Mom will be spayed and released to the colony here as she is simply too spicy and would suffer if I tried to relocate her from the only home she has known.

I've lovingly named Ziggy Cat-Tail-ea dye to a cute z shaped tail has Cerebral Hypoplasia better known as Wobbly kitten syndrome so she may take longer to find a safe forever home. They need shots, exams, toys and food and I need help covering the adding costs. I also continue to work towards some participation in helping the colony by attending town council and going the local improvement clubs. I hope to get motivation from the community to make an impact on the large colony by employing a TNR program and searching avenues for barn cat relocation and friendly kitten rehab. I may even look into how to do a not for profit small scale rescue myself. Until these things happen I will continue to help those I can and care for the injured, advocate for these loves and I appreciate any help we can get. Thank you! ❤️
