I’m asking from the bottom of my heart for support for one of the most incredible people I know, my dear friend Laura.

If you know Laura, you know she is one of the strongest and most selfless souls you’ll ever meet. As a nurse at Northwestern, she has spent her life in the labor and delivery side, caring for the mommas and assisting with the delivery of their babies, always ready to give her love, support, or simply a listening ear when someone needs it most.

Now Laura is facing one of the hardest battles of her life: breast cancer. She has recently undergone a double mastectomy and still has reconstructive procedures ahead. During this time, she will be out of work for a while, focusing on healing and recovery.
