My mother, Laura Rocha Jaramillo, tragically passed away the night before Mother's Day. After a nearly 10 day battle in the ICU, Laura left us, with my 2 young sisters by her bedside. She was a devoted woman, who loved her daughters more than anything in this world. She was a kind and beautiful soul, who made everyone feel like they mattered, who cooked incredible food, who loved to have a good laugh. I tentatively have created this GoFundMe in order to help pay for funeral and reception expenses. I want my mother to have a proper funeral service; to have her life celebrated on her 48th birthday. The donations we receive will aid our family in reducing some financial stress during this emotionally distressing time.

Being unable to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom is an incredibly soul crushing experience. My mom opened her arms to people in need, selflessly. My mom danced her heart out any time she could. My mom laughed the loudest out of everyone in the room. She will be so dearly missed by the ones that loved her.
