UPDATE: Laura took her last breath at 4:46am on Sunday, August 10th. A memorial in the works for August 30th. Please continue to pray for the family. She will be terribly missed.

Hi Y'all! I am Laura's sister. Laura was found unresponsive in her apartment on Saturday, August 2nd. She was rushed to the ER, where she was put on a ventilator and sedated. Since then, she has been in ICU. Two MRIs have been done, and there is nothing going on. No change in the time she has been there. She made it clear to anyone who loved her that she did NOT want to be kept alive by a machine, so the decision was made to remove her from the machines. Laura is an organ donor. Tests have started, and the search has begun to match her with recipients. **Saturday, she will be taken off machines.**

Her wish was to be cremated. She was on a very limited income due to an injury. This was very sudden, so I am asking for help with covering the cost of the funeral home and other expenses that come up for the family.
