Update 6/28/25: This is not the update I hoped to share.

Our beautiful Laura passed away last night. Any funds will go to her family for end of life expenses and loss of income while they grieve.

I hope that you will all carry the spirit of kindness, selflessness and generosity that embodied our angel Laura. Her spirit lives on in each of us touched by her.

She was my sister, not by blood, but by bond. She will be so deeply and painfully missed.

On June 11th, our beloved Laura suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that has left her on life support, fighting for her life. The rupture caused a severe brain injury, resulting in complete paralysis on the right side of her body. Despite these devastating circumstances, Laura continues to show incredible strength. Her journey toward recovery will be long and demanding, requiring intensive rehabilitation and ongoing therapy.

Laura has worked with Showcase for over 10 years, where she is known for her hard work, kindness, and dedication. Now, her family is not only facing the emotional toll of this sudden tragedy but also the financial burden of mounting medical bills and the loss of her income.

We are asking for your help to ease this financial strain so Laura’s loved ones can focus on her healing. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward her ongoing care, medical expenses, and support for her family during this unimaginable time.
